An attractive retail complex, offering a mix of uses, closes the urban gap at the eastern edge of the old town in Neubrandenburg.
The existing scale and rectangular block structure of the old town was taken and reinterpreted with a modern language. The transparency of the complex offers new connections through the site and an attractive shopping experience. Pathways through the shopping area provide stimulation of the inner courtyard and surrounding units.
At ground floor level the connection to the north lying main shopping street is facilitated through a set-back facade and arcade. The round arches of the existing facade forms an attractive and elegant entrance to the shops and courtyard beyond.
